Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Location:Hyannis Massachusetts 02601
Unit: Emergency Department
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12-hour Nights 3 shifts per week
Pay Rate: $2676 (Weekly Gross)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care and maintain accurate documentation.
Document patient assessments including physical psychological and social dimensions as well as discharge planning.
Summarize assessment data and initiate plans of care communicating pertinent information to allied care providers.
Demonstrate proficiency in the charge nurse role and nursing informatics systems.
Serve as a resource for patient care staff orientation and education.
Participate in staff meetings mandatory programs and professional development activities.
Assist in monitoring quality and appropriateness of patient care.
Adhere to all safety blood/body fluid and infection control policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience.
At least 1 year of travel ER RN experience.
Proficiency in IV administration IV starts ventilator care and telemetry monitoring.
Successful passage of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams.
Completion of de-escalation certification course (preferred).

Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Certifications (Required):

BLS (AHA)
ACLS
TNCC

Preferred Certifications:

ENPC
PALS
