Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Telemetry
Location: Saratoga Springs NY 12866
Shift: Night Shift 312-Hour Shifts 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Schedule Type: Non-Block Scheduling
Patient Ratio: 1:45
Job Summary:Seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in an acute care setting. The RN will provide high-quality patient care monitor cardiac rhythms and collaborate with the care team to support telemetry patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care to telemetry patients during night shifts
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Administer medications and manage patient care per clinical protocols
Accurately document patient care using Epic EHR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Active New York RN license (in hand)
Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
At least 1 year of current experience with telemetry patient populations
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Ability to pass a hospital-proctored rhythm test (80% overall accuracy and 100% accuracy on critical rhythms)
Epic charting experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
Flu vaccine or approved exemption
Preferred Experience:
Critical drip management
Cerebrovascular accident (CVA) patient care
Skills:
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy:
Not required (facility guideline)
