Customer Services Coordinator
The British Council is looking for a Customer Service Team Leader to coordinate and supervise our Customer Service Assistants ensuring top-tier service delivery across our Teaching Centre and other Strategic Business Units.
About the Role
As Customer Service Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customer-facing operations run smoothly and professionally. Youll lead a team of six Customer Service Assistants ensuring high-quality service efficient registration processes and effective use of our CRM and SMS systems. Youll also support customer feedback management quality assurance and team development.
Key Responsibilities ( But not limited to the following)
- Supervise and coach the Customer Service Assistants team to deliver branded professional service.
- Coordinate student registrations and re-registrations for the Teaching Centre.
- Monitor and report on customer service KPIs and performance statistics.
- Ensure consistent quality in customer interactions across all channels.
- Manage CRM and SMS systems to support customer engagement and operational efficiency.
- Handle complex customer queries and support resolution of challenging cases.
- Organise team schedules and ensure adequate coverage during absences.
- Deputise for the Customer Services & Sales Manager when required.

- Proven experience in sales customer service and team supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and student management systems.
- Ability to coach and develop team members.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive customer-focused mindset.
- Experience of working with B2C customers
