Onboarding Specialist 3-6 Months Temp Hybrid San Rafael $40-$42/hour
We are seeking a Pre-Employment / Onboarding Specialist with Workday experience to help roll out the red carpet for new this role youll own pre-employment activities coordinate onboarding and keep Workday squeaky clean all while ensuring every new hire feels welcome from day one.
This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your Workday and onboarding skills as a member of a collaborative supportive and encouraging team!
Start Date: October 6th or shortly after
Duration: 3-6 months (covering a leave of absence)
Location: Hybrid in San Rafael 1-2 days onsite per week
Requirements: Clear criminal background check and clear drug screen (cannabis included)
What Youll Do
Manage high volume pre-employment processes including background checks licensure verification I-9/E-Verify and Employee Health clearances.
Coordinate start dates orientations and onboarding schedules.
Maintain accuracy and compliance in Workday.
Partner with HR and TA colleagues to ensure a smooth engaging new hire experience.
What Were Looking For
HR Talent Acquisition or onboarding experience.
Workday experience strongly preferred.
Clear confident communicator with strong follow-through.
Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information.
Proactive detail-oriented and comfortable working independently.
