What You Can Expect Working in the Safety and Environmental Compliance Specialist Position
The Safety and Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing RedGuards safety program in alignment with the companys safety culture. This role conducts routine facility inspections to identify potential or existing safety and health hazards recommends corrective or preventive measures and ensures their implementation. The Specialist advises the company on changes to health and safety regulations and ensures compliance with agencies such as OSHA DOT EPA KDHE TCEQ and other client-required programs. Responsibilities include developing and delivering safety programs conducting training and ensuring permit requirements are met. Additionally this role serves as the primary contact for maintaining the companys DISA membership overseeing pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as required.
