Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team. This role will be based in Shanghai.
We will count on you to:
- Proactively assist the Senior Finance Manager in ensuring the business runs in compliance with all applicable local regulatory guidelines/legislation (statutory & fiscal) and Group corporate governance & internal control procedures to satisfy SOX & Internal audit requirements including conducting internal control reviews driving process improvements and leading weakness remediation efforts.
- Assist Senior Finance Manager in cash flow management and provide accurate timely cash forecasting to Group Treasury.
- Assist Senior Finance Manager to review monthly flash results ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of relevant financial information to stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit month-end management reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Manage cross-border tax matters with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Handle inter-company transactions under US GAAP and China GAAP coordinate inter-company communications prepare inter-company activity reports and perform inter-company reconciliations.
- Lead and contribute to other ad-hoc projects demonstrating ownership and accountability.
What you need to have:
- University graduate or above in finance accounting or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience with Big Four accounting firm experience preferred demonstrating strong technical expertise and professional growth.
- Proficient with Oracle Hyperion financial systems or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of PRC GAAP and US GAAP.
- Adequate knowledge of SOX corporate governance financial operations and corporate tax requirements.
- Highly proactive with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse teams across functions to resolve issues and drive results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive working attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Previous experience in professional services or financial services companies especially consulting is highly valued.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
- Professional certifications such as CICPA or ACCA are preferred.
- Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools including emerging areas such as AI.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including experience in leading teams managing projects and mentoring colleagues to achieve business objectives.
