Job Responsibilities
- Drive adherence and compliance to Firmwide Data Risk Management policies and standards.
- Provide leadership with recommendations for enhancements to the overall Data Governance structure.
- Investigate and resolve breaches to data governance and risk policies.
- Manage and lead a high-performing data team in India.
- Partner with various stakeholders to sustain a mature Data Governance framework.
- Provide ideas on improving existing business processes for enhanced efficiencies.
- Support the execution of large-scale multi-year program deliverables related to specific workstreams.
Required Qualifications Skills and Capabilities
- 10 years plus relevant experience with strong understanding of control and risk management concepts.
- Bachelors Degree in Data Science Business Administration Economics Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Subject matter expertise in data governance and data management practices.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating across functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications Skills and Capabilities
- In-depth experience with data architecture disciplines and modeling tools.
- Certification in Data Technology Agile or other project management/Business Analysis applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to propose solutions to complex problems.
- Experience in strategic and tactical initiatives demonstrating the ability to own deliverables.
