Job Summary

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)Full time positions supporting elementary and middle school age students with moderate/severe disabilities including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other complex needs in a public school Include:Assists the classroom teacher and/or the BCBA in implementing behavioral programmingWork with students 1:1 or in small groupsImplement and oversee student behavior support plansMonitors and records students progress on daily and periodic basis using an assigned data-based recording systemConsult with school staff family and other Team teachers/staff with resources tools and modeling of techniquesAssist with supervision of daily routines and schedules. This may include services such as feeding toileting diapering and assisting therapists Participate in appropriate staff development as required to ensure professional growthPerforms other related tasks as assigned by the teacher and school administrators Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students staff and familyReports To:Building BCBABuilding principal and special education team administratorDirector of Special Education & Special Education Coordinator
