Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Project Manager/Senior Scrum Master. This dual role combines the strategic oversight and delivery management responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager with the agile leadership and facilitation skills of a Senior Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects and leading agile teams to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope schedule cost estimates resource allocation and risk management.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time within scope and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress performance and results to stakeholders and senior management.

2. Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and expectations.
  • Facilitate project meetings presentations and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

3. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively manage project changes addressing issues and conflicts promptly.

4. Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes.

As a Senior Scrum Master:

1. Agile Leadership:

  • Coach and mentor agile teams fostering a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.

2. Team Empowerment:

  • Support the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external interference to ensure optimal productivity.

3. Agile Practices:

  • Guide the team and organization in adopting agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure that Scrum processes are followed and improved over time.

4. Performance Tracking:

  • Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a transparent and accountable environment encouraging feedback and open communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in project management and agile methodologies with a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum Kanban and Lean.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
