Key Objective:

Become one of the contributor in the Global Modelling COE team. Support the COE team in building enhancing and maintaining the centralized Prophet model for all Chubb Life insurance operations. Perform independent verifications on actuarial calculations to ensure the calculations are done according to the sound actuarial principal and perform impact analysis on the model changes. Work closely with the regional and local teams to on various actuarial tasks according to the agreed timeline and Chubb requirements. Support local teams and HO to provide actuarial oversight and analysis. Promote process improvement by developing automation tools and exploring other new technologies and support various global initiatives like process automation data analytics actuarial transformation that includes but not limited to AI-powered actuarial process analysis.

Major Duties & Reponsibilities:

  • Develop modelling solutions to cater for the local calculation requirements and ensure the solution is developed consistently with Chubb Modelling Standards

  • Perform impact analysis between old and new models and provide thorough investigation and explanations on the differences

  • Perform result reconciliation and provide explanations on the differences according to the actuarial principal

  • Develop functional check spreadsheets to validate the calculation functionalities in the new model

  • Prepare the data required in the new model. Build the data conversion tool according to the requirements

  • Support local teams on streamlining the local reporting process to reduce manual works. Develop process automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Support Source of Earnings (SOE) analysis and Qlik sense Development. Develop data analytical capabilities to improve result analysis work.

  • Prepare the model documentations user guide and training materials



Qualifications
  • Degree in Actuarial Science

  • High level of proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Prophet Visual Basic Python and other programming languages is a plus

  • Fluent in speaking and written English

  • A team player with good interpersonal skills able to work independently and under pressure

  • Execution oriented

  • 1-2 years of relavant experience
