Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for aCommercial Officer in Adelaide to work on Space projects.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key role responsibilities including:

Prepare briefings for board members on evaluation plans processes and oversee all evaluation activities.

Ensure strict adherence to security protocols including response registration and secure document storage.

Conduct initial screening of submissions to verify compliance with content format and registration requirements.

Manage procurement planning tendering contract formation and contract management in line with legislation and policies.

Provide timely accurate advice on procurement policy commercial legal and financial matters supporting effective contract management.

Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimumNegative Vetting 1or higher Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
