Whats the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an Analyst Commercial Contracts & Governance to join the Technology Chief Technology Office at Westpac. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical capabilities keen attention to detail excellent communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn. While prior experience in Commercial Contracts or Governance is advantageous.

Key responsibilities include supporting governance activities related to Commercial Contracts and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who can think critically communicate effectively and contribute meaningfully to the wider teams objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of Commercial Contracts and Governance activities including documentation reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Support sourcing arrangements for the business including the creation and management of purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure governance processes are followed consistently.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports that will assist in effective decision making.
  • Attend governance forums accurately capture discussion points and publish meeting minutes and action items.
  • Contribute to the development of templates processes and guidance materials.
  • Perform audit reviews to ensure Testing processes and frameworks are followed consistently.
  • Oversee timesheet review and approval ensuring accurate invoicing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives and process improvements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive self-motivated and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Prior supplier management experience either as the supplier or the client.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Commercial documents.
