About the job

As a Lead Frontend Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer-facing platform crafting seamless and engaging user experiences. This role is crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the technical excellence of our user interfaces directly impacting how customers interact with our products. By collaborating closely with designers product managers and backend teams you will bridge the gap between design and technology creating a cohesive and intuitive product ecosystem.

You will lead the development of complex scalable interfaces using React and modern front-end architecture ensuring high standards of code quality through clean maintainable and well-tested components! Additionally you will mentor fellow engineers contribute to architectural decisions and champion best practices in CI/CD performance and security becoming an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

Job Goals

• Develop and deliver scalable high-performing user interfaces using React and modern front-end frameworks.

• Collaborate with designers product managers and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and cohesive user experiences.

• Implement and maintain robust testing strategies achieving comprehensive unit integration and end-to-end test coverage.

• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines performance optimization and front-end application security.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and establish best practices for front-end development.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

• Evaluate and adopt emerging trends and technologies to enhance the platforms technical capabilities and user experience.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

• Proven expertise in JavaScript React and TypeScript with a focus on building and maintaining scalable single-page applications (SPAs) with at least between 8 to 10 years of experience within a role as Senior Fronted Engineer.

• Strong understanding of modular component architecture and state management strategies such as Redux or Zustand ensuring maintainable and performant systems.

• Hands-on experience with advanced frontend testing methodologies including tools like Jest React Testing Library or Cypress to maintain robust code quality.

• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tools (e.g. GitHub Actions CircleCI) for seamless deployment and integration workflows.

• Expertise in identifying and mitigating frontend security vulnerabilities ensuring secure and resilient applications.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in designing frontend systems for SaaS or analytics-heavy platforms.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization.

• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant tech communities.
