About the Role
This role sits within the Consumer Insurance Executive Office supporting the Chief Executive Consumer Insurance and the Consumer Insurance Leadership Team. Youll play a critical role in enabling high performance through strategic planning governance communications and stakeholder engagement.
Youll be responsible for:
Providing timely insightful advice and support to the Chief Executive Consumer Insurance.
Leading the preparation and oversight of Board ELT and Committee papers and presentations.
Supporting key events and communications such as Town Halls Business Leader Forums and Leadership Team offsites.
Managing governance activities including signatory requests and compliance oversight.
Coordinating cross-functional initiatives and supporting external advocacy with industry bodies.
Key Capabilities
Strategic Execution: Ability to manage complex deliverables with precision and agility.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships across senior leadership support functions and external partners.
Communication Excellence: Expert written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
Leadership & Influence: Confident in influencing outcomes challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
Governance & Compliance: Strong understanding of corporate governance reporting frameworks and risk management.
Experience & Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent (mandatory); postgraduate qualification desirable.
Minimum 5 years experience in senior communications governance strategy or project-related roles.
Proven ability to work independently manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
Strong emotional intelligence attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
