PGSQL JD :
Exp of 3-5 years as a PostgreSQL DBA .
Install configure and maintain PostgreSQL database systems.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
Perform database backups restores and disaster recovery procedures.
Manage database security user access and permissions.
Develop and implement database maintenance plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database schema.
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python).
Ensure database compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Document database configurations procedures and policies.
Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices.
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
Experience with database replication clustering and high availability solutions.
Proficiency in SQL PL/pgSQL and performance tuning.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix server environments.
Experience with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
