Position Overview
TheSenior HR Generalistwill manage the administration of HR policies procedures and programs while supporting key areas such as employee relations training and development compensation organizational development and this role youll partner closely with leaders and employees to shape a positive employee experience and support our growing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies procedures and reporting are under compliance.
- Recruits interviews and supports the selection of employees to fill vacant positions.
- Conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Trains HR Generalist and management in interviewing hiring terminations promotions performance review safety and sexual harassment.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies procedures and programs.
- Administers performance review program to ensure timeliness effectiveness compliance and equity within organization.
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
- Administers benefits programs such as life health dental and disability insurances retirement plan vacation leaves of absence and employee assistance.
- Supports safety initiatives by following up on accidents and reports to Workers Compensation.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations as needed
- Other duties may be assigned by HR Manager and/or other leaders to support the organization
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors degree in HR Business or related field. HR certification is a plus.
- 5 years of broad HR experience (generalist-level or higher). Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and proven success implementing HR functional best practices.
- Experienced HRIS/HCM user systems with strong practices to utilize the systems to drive decision making and improve departmental effectiveness and efficiencies. ADP preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization as well as external vendor relationships to create solutions communicate effectively and support successful change and project management.
