Job Summary
Position: Junior Light Technician
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Full-time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the setup and operation of lighting systems in a dynamic around-the-clock production environment to ensure consistent quality across all studio output.
- Operate monitor and assist in maintaining lighting equipment. Collaborate with senior staff to identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding operational updates equipment conditions and any emerging concerns.
- Ensure lighting activities meet safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with other technical teams to align lighting with broader production elements such as audio and video.
- Assist in maintaining detailed records of lighting setups and usage. Stay informed about current trends and technologies in studio lighting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong proficiency in English (at least B2) in both written and spoken communication.
- Prior experience working with lighting systems in live production or studio environments.
- Familiarity with studio lighting equipment control systems and the ability to interpret light plots or technical diagrams.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for lighting in live or continuous-operation environments.
- Ability to respond to and assist in resolving technical issues under pressure in live settings.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members including senior technicians and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to work various shifts including occasional nights and weekends.
