- Looking for Delivery Lead profile with combination of hands-on technical competency and project leadership
- Must have AWS Blu Age certification
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Delivery Lead to spearhead a leading banks mainframe modernization and migration to AWS. This role is critical in driving transformation using AWS Blu Age and related AWS services to replatform and refactor legacy mainframe applications into cloud-native solutions.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise across mainframe systems and AWS migration frameworks who can guide teams through every stage of large-scale modernizationstrategy execution and production cutover. Prior experience in delivering such programs within large banks or financial institutions is highly desirable.
Tasks
- Lead the end-to-end migration of mainframe workloads to AWS with a core focus on AWS Blu Age for refactoring and replatforming.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture design and execution to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with business technology and AWS teams to ensure secure compliant and seamless migrations.
- Mentor teams in modern cloud-native practices and ensure alignment with banking regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Strong background in mainframe technologies (COBOL JCL DB2 CICS etc.).
- Hands-on AWS migration experience especially with AWS Blu Age.
- Proven success delivering large-scale mainframe-to-cloud migrations in banking or financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management leadership and program delivery skills.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Migration Specialist or Mainframe Modernization) preferred.
