Intuit is searching for a visionary leader to take the helm of our Consumer Lending business. As a key part of our mission to champion financial progress for our 100M members this role will be responsible for building a robust lending platform that empowers tax filers to improve their credit and access liquidity when filing taxes. Today customers use our Fast Money and Tax Refund advance products we want to create new ways for our TurboTax customers to approach borrowing offering them responsible data-driven solutions to achieve their financial goals.
As the business owner for the Intuit Consumer Lending portfolio youll be the driving force behind our strategy and growth. Were looking for a leader with deep expertise in managing a lending portfolio a keen understanding of risk management and a proven track record of growing new lending propositions. Youll work with a diverse team of stakeholders including Business Development Product Engineering Marketing and Financial Planning & Analysis and youll also be a key partner to our colleagues across Intuit.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the development of a compelling product strategy and vision for our TurboTax lending offerings connecting it directly to our Intuit Consumer mission.
- Create and execute both long-term and short-term strategies to grow the lending portfolio ensuring alignment with the executive team and overall company goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation and member-centricity within the team inspiring everyone to build products that help our members make intelligent financial decisions.
- Drive execution and results balancing the needs of our members partners and the business while carefully managing risk.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Consumer and GBSG (Global Business Solutions Group) leveraging your experience in complex multi-tiered organizations.
- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team focused on achieving key business objectives.
- Manage the P&L for the lending portfolio ensuring we meet our financial targets and have the resources necessary for success.
What Were Looking For:
- 10 years of leadership and operating experience with at least 5 years in consumer lending.
- A proven track record of successfully managing and growing a large-scale consumer lending portfolio.
- Demonstrated expertise in credit risk management underwriting and portfolio performance analysis.
- Experience leading high-performing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- MBA preferred.
What Wed Like to See:
- Direct experience managing a growth-focused P&L.
- Proficiency in understanding of consumer cashflow underwriting
- Strong knowledge of consumer loans (Iss & Servicing)
- Experience of Early Wage Access/Short Term Lending
- Strong understanding of fraud operations and risk mitigation strategies in a lending context.
- A strategic and creative mindset with the ability to turn new ideas into impactful business initiatives.
- Expertise with data-driven customer segmentation and marketing for lending products.
- Experience structuring and managing partner relationships and agreements.
