REPORTS TO: MLE Director and Assistant Director - Dr Alberto Carrero & Mrs. Alma Pezo
GENERAL DUTIES: The MLE Department is looking for an Spanish teacher to facilitate a series of lessons using best teaching practices for adult education. The Spanish teacher will plan and execute 16 sessions to help staff and community members to learn conversational Spanish skills. The instructor will be compensated for 3 hours of work in every session which includes one hour for preparing the lesson and two hours to deliver the class.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be an educator at one of the Caminos elementary middle or high schools or World Language who teaches in Spanish and is well versed in best practices for adult instruction. We are looking for a well represented group of educators.
COMPENSATION: There will be 48 hours per instructor allocated to this work Compensation: Teachers will be paid at the contractual rate for work outside of the school day (up to 48 hours total).
