This is a remote position.
Respite Care of San Antonio (RCSA) provides services to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnosis. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize families prevent possible child abuse and prevent or delay institutionalization of the child with special needs.
We offer various services for children with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnoses such as a full-time daycare mothers day out program family day out/parents night out program and summer camps. Along with this we are a licensed emergency shelter and foster placement agency for children who have been taken into state protective custody.
The Remote Billing & Data Entry Clerk supports RCSAs mission by ensuring accurate data entry and timely billing operations for services provided. This role combines detailed administrative dataentry and billing tasks in a remote environment to help maintain financial integrity and efficient operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and review billing submissions service records client/caregiver data and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Enter billing data service codes dates client information and other relevant details into billing systems databases or spreadsheets with high accuracy.
Verify that charges service entries and billing codes align with services delivered and organizational policy.
Maintain and update electronic records/databases: client files service logs invoices payment records and billing-related correspondence.
Assist in generating billing invoices and statements preparing them for submission internally or to insurers/thirdparty payers (if applicable).
Monitor billing statuses and follow up on missing documentation discrepancies or data issues to ensure clean billing.
Work with other internal teams (client services scheduling care delivery finance) to resolve billing/data entry issues and support workflow.
Handle sensitive client caregiver and financial data with confidentiality adhering to applicable datasecurity and privacy standards.
Maintain a reliable remote work environment: stable internet connection secure handling of data dedicated workspace.
Provide basic reporting or metrics on billing or dataentry throughput error rates or outstanding items as needed.
Perform other related clerical/administrative tasks (scanning filing correspondence email followup) to support the billing and data operations team.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or certificate in business/administration preferred).
No experience needed we will train and training is paid
Strong attention to detail high accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel Word Outlook) and comfortable learning new billing or database systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to liaise with internal teams and follow up on issues.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment: selfdriven organized reliable.
