Job Description
*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Analyst position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Crafting end-to-end customer journeys and building stories that reflect both the holistic view and detailed components of those journeys.
- Grooming the product backlog in collaboration with the RTE Product Manager Product Owners and Business stakeholders to ensure it is well-populated and prioritized.
- Ensuring a steady flow of user stories aligned to business objectives.
- Leading the creation of user stories including associated data requirements and documentation.
- Defining system and data requirements and identifying dependencies and constraints working toward resolution where needed.
- Supporting QA validation and user story acceptance.
- Working closely with development teams to drive implementation.
- Acting as an IT liaison and influencer with business partners.
What Youll Need to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology IT Infrastructure or similar discipline.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry; mortgage domain experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in Agile and SAFe environments.
- Proficiency in JIRA Confluence Kanban Boards and other collaborative platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) validating requirements and working with QA teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong business process documentation skills.
- Experience in CI/CD environments.
- Ability to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders with the communication skills to diplomatically challenge when needed.
- Strong troubleshooting analytical presentation and time management skills.
- Self-motivated flexible and enthusiastic with strong critical thinking and interpersonal abilities.
Pay Range:$50-$58/hr
