Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Global Communications Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive multi-channel communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our corporate reputation globally. This includes creating compelling narratives and ensuring message consistency across all regions.
Lead Global Media Relations: Serve as a primary spokesperson and cultivate strong relationships with top-tier international media market leaders and high-profile influencers (including celebrities and key opinion leaders). You will proactively identify and secure high-impact media opportunities to tell our story.
Navigate Complex Issues & Crisis Communications: With a steady hand lead our crisis communication efforts developing and executing strategies to protect the companys reputation in challenging situations.
Drive Executive Communications & Thought Leadership: Partner with our senior leadership to develop our public profiles through media training speaking engagements and crafting compelling thought leadership platforms.
Manage a Global Network: Oversee our global network of PR agencies ensuring they are delivering exceptional results and providing a strong return on investment.
Champion Internal Communications: Foster a vibrant and informed internal culture by developing and executing an internal communications program that engages and aligns our global teams with our companys mission and values.
Data-Driven Insights: Measure the impact of our PR and communications efforts using data and analytics to refine our strategies and demonstrate value to the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
Extensive Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in public relations and corporate communications with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a global -house experience at a publicly traded technology company is highly desirable.
Strategic & Results-Oriented: A strategic thinker who can connect communication initiatives to business objectives and is driven by measurable results. A Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations or a related field is required.
Global Mindset: Proven experience developing and executing successful communication strategies across multiple international markets with a deep understanding of the nuances of different media landscapes and cultural contexts.
Exceptional Communication Skills: A gifted writer and speaker with the ability to distill complex information into clear concise and compelling messages. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in other languages is a strong plus.
Strong Media Relations Acumen: A robust network of contacts across the global media landscape and a proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage.
Crisis Management Expertise: Demonstrable experience in successfully managing complex and sensitive communication issues with a calm and strategic approach.
Collaborative Leader: A natural leader and team player with experience managing and mentoring a team of communication professionals and agency partners across different time zones.
Candidates with potential but less direct experience will be considered for a Senior Manager position.
