As part of our ongoing internal development efforts to strengthen the capabilities of our Quality Management System team we are looking to welcome a new experienced talent to join us as an IT Business Analyst.

We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in business analysis and a strong track record of delivering analytical solutions tailored for internal organizational use. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting value network thinking across the organization helping to eliminate siloed approaches to data and decision-making.

This role reports to the IT Service Manager and involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and service providers. It offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Hitachi Energys core business develop strong stakeholder engagement skills and grow within a global leader in the green energy industry

How you will make an impact

  • Requirement gathering & management: Work with business to collect elicit and document the reporting and analytical requirements. Maintain the requirements backlog in relevant tool.
  • Documentation management: Participate actively to product documentation.
  • Tech team cooperation: Work closely with technical team to ensure that they have a clear understanding of requirements data sources and data flows.
  • Design creation: Create high level design of report look & feel (wireframe). Design Data Models to be used for self-service
  • Support PM workflow: Support PM / SM within project development team during development process. Perform testing for data models and reports. Actively work on building test scenario of data models and reports for UAT. Participate in UAT supporting business users and resolving discrepancies in data. Be a support for support team in resolving complex issues.
  • Stakeholders communication: Maintain regular contact with business stakeholders to anticipate future needs for analytics.

Your background:

  • Education & experience: At least Msc Degree in information systems or finance economics accounting or similar. Working experience with designing meaningful reports. Strong ownership and leadership demonstrated with a success track over previous assignments.
  • Area knowledge: Understanding of data modelling concepts working experience with DevOps business modelling tools (BPMN UML). Solid experience in business analysis within the context of quality management including requirement gathering process mapping and stakeholder collaboration. Familiarity with quality-related systems and tools such as document control platforms audit management systems and CAPA tracking.
  • Soft skills & work attitude: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present findings report activities and articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences. A problem-solving mindset capable of working independently and organizing tasks efficiently without the need for close supervision. A high level of intercultural awareness enabling you to collaborate effectively in a global and diverse environment. A strong sense of ownership and accountability consistently demonstrating reliability and dedication to achieving results. A systematic and structured approach to analysis and decision-making combined with a business-oriented perspective that ensures alignment with organizational goals. Strong interpersonal and articulation skills allowing you to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Language skills: Fluent English is a must.
  • Nice to have not must: Quality Improvement (Lean Six-Sigma Kaizen) experience will be beneficial. Experience with ETQ system is a plus
