Job Title: Financial Insurance Manager

Description:
A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced licensed Financial Insurance Manager to lead its Financial Insurance Department. This individual will oversee daily operations service existing clients and drive growth across employee group benefits life disability and long-term care insurance.
We are looking for a strategic leader who is passionate about team development client success and business growth.
How you will contribute:
Oversee daily operations of the Financial Insurance Department.
Manage coach and motivate a team of Financial Insurance professionals.
Drive achievement of departmental sales goals and contribute to company-wide targets.
Develop and implement a strategic business plan to grow the financial insurance book.
Identify and pursue prospective clients while strengthening existing relationships.
Conduct coverage reviews identify gaps and present appropriate solutions.
Prepare proposals submit applications and deliver compelling sales presentations.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the customer management system.
Conduct annual plan reviews with staff to identify opportunities for upgrades and remarketing.
What we need from you:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Insurance focused on maintaining and growing a book of business as an Account Manager or Benefits Consultant.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role or 4 years in a lead position within an insurance or financial services organization.
Active Life and Health License is required.
Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred.

Strong decision-making abilities and capacity to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
Understanding of insurance agency workflows underwriting sales and client service.
Positive can-do attitude with a customer-first mindset.
