Job Description

Job Title: Sonographer Ultrasound/Vascular

Location: Syracuse NY

Shift: Thursday Sunday 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Summary:

The Sonographer is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment and for performing and communicating the results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. This role includes daily operations of the sonography lab scheduling patients maintaining equipment and conducting quality assurance. The Sonographer must exercise independent judgment during exams to differentiate between normal and pathological findings obtain appropriate medical history and communicate results to the radiologist.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA) or U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) in diagnostic medical sonography.

  • RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
