Job Summary

Veterinary Technician Assistant (Full-Time)
Washington Avenue Animal Hospital

Were looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant (VTA) to join our team! This role supports our doctors and technicians while providing compassionate care to pets.

What Youll Do:

Safely restrain animals for exams & treatments
Assist during surgeries and procedures
Care for hospitalized pets (feeding walking monitoring)
Maintain clean and stocked exam/surgical areas

What Were Looking For:

Minimum 1 year of experience working with animals (vet or animal care setting)
Ability to restrain animals of all sizes/temperaments
Strong teamwork reliability and communication skills
Must be able to work 50% of weekends

Compensation & Schedule:

Full-time $15$17/hr (based on experience)
Includes evening and weekend shifts on rotation
