Position Overview:

A dependable team member who will provide administrative support performing the day-to-day administrative functions and assigned tasks related to reception management facility services building maintenance engineering projects and/or equipment maintenance.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan and schedule all maintenance and preventative maintenance activities
  • Generate work orders track progress and ensure completion
  • Coordinate and implement daily work schedules prioritizing critical tasks
  • Schedule and direct contractors for repairs and manage vendor relationships
  • Perform daily walkthroughs to review PMs & WOs verifying task completion
  • Monitor space cleanliness and organization for inspection readiness
  • Coordinate with other onsite teams to meet client needs
  • Communicate with customers engineers and subcontractors
  • Develop and address ticket jobs in the in-house system
  • Complete various complex facilities support services
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and coordinate utility-related issues
  • Manage multiple projects and balance priorities

Education and Experience:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1-2 years). In some cases an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education training and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Proven decision-making abilities
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with diverse groups and specialized vendors
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems (HVAC plumbing electrical)
  • Understanding of security systems
  • Ability to perform successfully under pressure
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in non-traditional work environments
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in managing constant change and revisions
  • Out of hours on call availability when required
