Job Description
- Location: Broken Hill
- Work type: Full-time temporary to 30 June 2026
- LLS Grade 3 starting at $75728 super & leave
- Conduct field operations to reduce the impact of feral pigs and other invasive species
- Assist with surveillance compliance and control programs
- Work directly with landholders community groups and partner agencies to deliver coordinated pest management activities
- Support emergency biosecurity responses and contribute to recovery programs when required
What were looking for
We are looking for motivated practical and adaptable individuals who enjoy hands-on fieldwork. You will bring:
- Knowledge and/or qualifications in agriculture biosecurity pest management or natural resource management
- Experience with pest animal management and safe use of pesticides (or willingness to gain this knowledge)
- Capacity to obtain and maintain a NSW Firearms Licence and relevant Statement of Attainment for humane animal destruction (AHCVPT203A AHCPMG304)
- Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability to work flexibly across the region
