Were looking for a Technical Support Analyst Payments to join our dynamic Payments Operations team . This role requires a sharp analytical mind a passion for problem-solving and a deep understanding of the global payments landscape. Youll be responsible for maintaining payment system health resolving incidents and supporting both internal teams and external clients with data-driven insights and fast effective technical support.
Production Support & Incident Management
Provide Level 3 support for internal and external customers.
Monitor the health and stability of payment systems and transaction flows.
Manage real-time incidents identify root causes and drive quick resolutions.
Triage and resolve incoming payment-related issues from cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Finance.
Perform day-to-day operational activities for the Payments team including incident logging system validation and internal ticket resolution.
Data Analysis & Decision Support
Conduct passthrough analysis to drive toward a zero-defect merchant experience.
Use SQL/PostgreSQL and other data tools to extract insights and inform decisions.
Make and support complex payments-related decisions using structured data and trend analysis.
Documentation & Internal Enablement
Maintain and update operational policies procedures and internal knowledge resources.
Document solutions and responses to common issues contributing to continuous improvement.
Participate in post-incident reviews providing clear documentation and lessons learned.
Business Impact & Collaboration
Collaborate across global teams and functions to ensure aligned operational excellence.
Recommend process enhancements and proactively monitor for future issues.
Stay informed about evolving payment technologies compliance mandates and industry standards.
High school diploma required; bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Finance or related field preferred.
4 years of experience in Card Wallet or Bank Payments. Bonus points for international payment experience.
Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and languages particularly SQL/PostgreSQL.
Strong quantitative backgroundengineering econometrics or finance experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of payment transaction flows system monitoring and incident response.
Effective and self-sufficient in a fast-paced globally distributed environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to create frictionless merchant experiences.
Comfort working in a structured process-driven environment with evolving priorities.
