Work Location
- Company is located 100 Deforest Ave. East Hanover NJ 07936 but role is Remote.
Responsibilities
- Additional support is needed to set up a solution for tariffs applied to US as well as ensure the accuracy of all value declarations to US Customs & Border Protection (CBP)
- Reviews corporate documents submissions etc. for purposes of ensuring compliance with a variety of specific governmental regulations. This may involve SEC (securities) OSHA workers compensation or in the case of a drug manufacturer or distributor various FDA regulations.
- Bachelors Degree or Paralegal Certification required
- Previous experience in Food Beverage or CPG experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding and experience in compliance regulatory affairs or import/export operations particularly in the context of tariffs and customs regulations U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requirements and tariffs and governmental regulations including but not limited to SEC OSHA and FDA regulations.
