Were on the hunt for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our Mortgages Originations Delivery Team.
In this role youll lead a team of analysts to define document and deliver high-quality business requirements that bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Youll work closely with stakeholders across business technology and vendor teams to shape future-state processes manage the requirements backlog and support agile delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and is passionate about driving impactful change.
Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with extensive experience as a Business Analyst ideally within lending or core banking transformation projects. Youll be confident working in Agile or hybrid environments with a strong grasp of mortgage processes business analysis frameworks and stakeholder engagement. Youll excel at translating complex business needs into clear actionable requirements and have a knack for guiding teams through change.

What youll do
- Lead a team of Business and Technical Analysts to deliver high-quality requirements for a major mortgage transformation program.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture analyse and document business needs and processes.
- Own and manage the requirements framework ensuring consistency traceability and alignment with program goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners Solution Architects and delivery teams to ensure requirements are ready for development.
- Produce clear and actionable artefacts such as customer journeys process maps and user stories.
- Support agile delivery through active participation in ceremonies testing phases and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
What were looking for
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst ideally with 7 years in financial services or mortgage transformation projects.
- Solid understanding of lending processes systems and tools from an origination and/or servicing perspective.
- Skilled in Agile or hybrid delivery environments with hands-on experience in workshops user stories and backlog management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables.
- Confident leading and mentoring a team managing capacity and ensuring high-quality outputs across the program.
- Proficient in tools like Confluence Jira/Azure DevOps and process mapping software with strong documentation and analytical skills.
