We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and maintenance for production line IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with production engineers to ensure smooth operations using production line IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Plant Floor Experience:
- Gather requirements to fill the needs of development and improve the existing systems.
- Execute tasks related to production processes for a production line IT system including monitoring and troubleshooting applications and databases connecting with production equipment and optimizing workflows.
- Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
- Partner with internal business teams including the production engineering team to understand requirements and optimize workflows using a production line IT system.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align with system architecture and performance goals.
- Prioritize against engaged priorities and collaborate across IT teams and internal business teams to deliver on business objectives.
- System Operation:
- Support mission-critical systems using mature IT and engineering practices.
- Monitor application/database performances and optimize processes to ensure efficient operation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of business processes that work with the implemented technologies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to enhance the reliability and scalability of production systems.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps for a production line IT system.
- Generate reports on daily activities system performances and meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrate practical experience and knowledge of plant floor operations.
- Proven work experience in production plant floor operations.
- Strong understanding of database architecture management and security principles.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL including advanced query optimization techniques.
- Exposure to Operational Technologies (OT) applications (Including SCADA PLCs and other technologies).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiar with the foundation of IT networking.
- Be able to develop web applications.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Prior experience with IT infrastructure for running a system is a plus.

- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
