The Deputy Manager Asset Leasing will be responsible for developing and managing the electric vehicle (EV) leasing portfolio. This role requires expertise in asset financing leasing models and fleet management.
Job Responsibility
1. Business Development & Leasing Strategy:
o Develop and implement strategies for EV asset leasing to enhance portfolio growth.
o Identify and engage with fleet operators logistics companies and mobility service providers for leasing opportunities.
o Establish partnerships with OEMs financiers and service providers for leasing solutions.
2. Portfolio & Risk Management:
o Structure lease agreements ensuring compliance with financial and operational parameters.
o Assess creditworthiness of potential lessees and mitigate financial risks.
o Monitor asset utilization collection efficiency and residual value management.
3. Operational & Financial Performance:
o Ensure profitability through efficient pricing asset life cycle management and cost optimization.
o Work with finance and risk teams to optimize leasing structures and ROI.
o Track market trends pricing models and competition analysis in the EV leasing space.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
o Collaborate with internal teams including credit operations and legal to streamline leasing processes.
o Negotiate with insurance providers service & maintenance vendors to optimize cost structures.
o Ensure seamless coordination for vehicle delivery maintenance and end-of-term asset disposal.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure all lease agreements comply with regulatory and company policies.
o Maintain accurate documentation contract management and compliance reporting.
o Stay updated on EV leasing-related policies subsidies and incentives.
Key Skills:Mandatory:
Strong understanding of leasing structures financial modeling and risk assessment.
Experience in fleet operations vehicle life cycle management and residual value analysis.
Excellent negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks taxation and subsidies in the leasing domain.
Proficiency in financial software and leasing management tools.
Aggressive salesperson who can work individual to source fleet account & do leasing attachment
Independently source fleet accounts and onboard clients for EV leasing and financing.
