Job Title: Senior Java Developer / Java Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 5 to 8 years
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable secure and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE Microservices API development Cloud (GCP) and DevOps practices along with strong skills in testing and design patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain high-quality scalable applications using Java/J2EE.
- Build and integrate APIs and Microservices to support enterprise-grade solutions.
- Implement unit integration and automation tests to ensure robust software delivery.
- Deploy manage and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Apply architecture principles and design patterns to deliver maintainable extensible solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA DevOps and Product Owners.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java / J2EE with deep understanding of object-oriented design.
- Hands-on experience in API development and Microservices architecture.
- Proven expertise in unit testing integration testing and automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit TestNG Mockito Selenium etc.).
- Good knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools especially GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have

Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS Azure).

Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK).

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
