Your new role
As the Senior Market Access and Commercial Director you will:

  • Define and lead integrated access pricing and reimbursement strategies for new launches and in-line products.
  • Develop value propositions and health economic models to support inclusion in national formularies and reimbursement lists.
  • Lead negotiations with key stakeholders including national payer bodies HTA organisations and institutional and retailer stakeholders.
  • Represent Novo Nordisk in meetings with the Ministry of Health pricing committees and other decision-making entities.
  • Monitor healthcare policy changes regulatory shifts and budgetary decisions to provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs Regulatory Affairs Government Affairs and commercial strategic teams to ensure alignment.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of access professionals fostering a culture of innovation compliance and stakeholder value.

You will join the Market Access team at Novo Nordisks Colombia Affiliate. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team dedicated to establishing Novo Nordisk as a leader in health solutions and a preferred partner within the public and private health ecosystem.

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a dynamic leader with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy Medicine Biotechnology) Health Economics Public Policy or related field. Postgraduate education (Masters or PhD) is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry especially focused on Market Access on private and public channels pricing and reimbursement particularly with innovative medicines.
  • At least 5 years of experience effectively managing teams 2 of which must be leading people managers.
  • Nice to have: Experience in Corporate Affairs and/or previous role as Business Unit Director.
  • Fluent English
