Location: Head Office 6675 Rexwood Rd Mississauga ON L4V 1V1
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm
Salary: $55000 - $65000 (based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly every second Friday

As we continue to expand we are seeking a Roofing Drafting Technician to play a key role in developing accurate and detailed project drawings to support the successful execution of roofing projects. What Youll Do

• Participate in project turnover meetings to review and gather scope details
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to confirm materials and key technical elements
• Prepare shop drawings using CAD software and architectural documentation
• Revise drawings based on feedback from architects engineers and internal stakeholders
• Develop construction drawings and as-built documentation
• Support 3D modelling and BIM deliverables (Revit) as required
• Maintain communication with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Attend product demos and training sessions to stay current with industry tools and methods
• Conduct periodic site visits for project visualization and coordination
• Contribute to a positive team culture within the Roofing Department

What You Bring to the Team

• Diploma or certification in Architectural Technology Construction Engineering or a related field is an asset
• 3 years of drafting experience in roofing building envelope or commercial construction
• Solid knowledge of building envelope and roofing systems
• Proficient in reading interpreting and producing construction drawings
• Strong experience with Autodesk Revit AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and Recap PRO; Inventor is an asset
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently when needed
• Strong initiative attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset
