As an AbbVie Procurement Intern you will participate in a paid ten-to-twelve-week summer program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. For this internship AbbVie is seeking a motivated and dynamic intern to join the Procurement Strategy & Capabilities team. This role will focus on exciting and innovative projects in the Procurement Risk and Procurement Analytics space.

Project Overview:

- Assist in procurement analytics projects by gathering and analyzing data to support scenario modeling for risk and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions focused on innovative solutions for procurement challenges.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in university pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science data science supply chain management or related major.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools including Python MATLAB SQL Pyspark or Power BI.
- Must be enrolled in university the semester following your internship
- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 - June 2027.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in procurement strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving written and verbal skills
- Exceptional interpersonal leadership and project management skills
- Proven track record of teamwork adaptability innovation initiative and integrity
