The position reports directly to the Head of Editorial & Marketing Partnerships.
- The position is responsible for working with key digital retail partners (DSPs) and help coordinate on front-line marketing initiatives for our extensive new release and catalog schedules.
- Experience in Digital Marketing and digital retail promotion across streaming platforms and mobile is integral to the roles
- Collaborate with account management teams to ensure seamless flow of information set up weekly calls monthly reviews to analyze impact on Believes market share.
- Deep understanding of the North markets (Punjabi language) from a music lens; growing artist communities genre differentiation opportunity areas streaming pie chart etc.
Digital Retail:
- Working with editorial & L&A (Partnerships) teams of DSPs to ensure the pipeline of priority releases optimizing the promotional information and ensuring our releases receive strong coverage.
- Build and develop a credible relationship with DSPs and be a positive influencer in the ecosystem.
- Work closely with every local DSPs; Gauge genre movement; Top release movement; introduction of new IPs and programs as potential opportunities to place content and artists
- Work on DSP backstage to identify genre wise Believe market share; Closely coordinate with local support to extract and analyze key market information.
- Focus on International Key Release strategy for priority releases with a clear objective of growing streaming base in relevant international markets.
- Collaborating on the conception development and rollout of new marketing and promotion services for new releases & catalog.
Internal Process:
- Work closely with Head of Editorial & Marketing Partnerships to ensure Marketing strategy is adhered to on a local level with a strong attention to internal processes.
- Set up regular weekly calls with account management teams to identify key releases and how to build promotional opportunities with DSPs.
- Create weekly report with song performance details highlighting growth and a POA to arrest the drop
Marketing Strategy:
- Recommend long term strategy to Head of Editorial & Marketing Partnerships to introduce newer forms of marketing to ensure a steady growth of market share for Believe India and South Asia
- Network with industry experts to identify best practices on content marketing and adapt to Believe ecosystem.
- Drive strategy to globalize Believes North front-line releases of artists & labels with the help of Believes international presence.

- 7 years of relevant experience in trade marketing editorials or music marketing
- Has ears for music must know how to present a music sales pitch
