Summary:
The Manager Training role is pivotal in shaping the organizations talent development strategy by designing and delivering high-impact training programs that align with strategic business objectives. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive training needs assessments developing engaging and relevant learning content and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure measurable improvements in employee performance. The Manager Training leads the Learning & Development (LSD) team fosters collaboration with Department Heads (HODs) and champions a continuous learning culture across all levels of the organization. By driving capability building initiatives this role directly contributes to workforce readiness operational excellence and long-term organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business goals.
- Plan design and implement comprehensive training and development programs across departments.
- Develop and curate high-quality learning content tailored to diverse learning styles and job roles.
- Lead mentor and manage the LSD team to ensure timely delivery of training initiatives.
- Collaborate with HODs and business leaders to understand departmental training requirements and ensure alignment.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using key performance indicators and feedback mechanisms.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning through innovative learning strategies and engagement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to enhance program relevance.

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Education Training or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 812 years of progressive experience in training learning & development or talent management.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful training programs in a corporate or engineering environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading a training or L&D team.
- Proficiency in training evaluation methodologies (e.g. Kirkpatrick Model) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in conducting training needs analysis and developing competency frameworks.
