Job Summary
Our client a privately owned Custom workshop is seeking the services of a Panel Workshop Manager for the Roodepoort / Randburg Johannesburg Area.
The ideal candidate should have min of 5 years experience as a Workshop Manager / Senior Foreman with a panel shop or workshop.
Our client offers huge incentive structures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Achieving Panel and Mechanical Workshop targets
- Streamlining and implementing systems and procedures to improve workflow
- Set up labour sales targets and weekly goals for workshop staff
- Allocate job cards / work to staff for the day
- Ensure staff achieve targets and implement incentive structures.
- Manage project to completion and within set deadlines
- Exceptional customer service and feedback
- Assisting Technicians and Panelbeaters with problems
- Manage the entire workshop from A-Z
Min Requirements and non negotiable skills:
- 5 years experience as a workshop manager or senior foreman
- Highly experienced in Panel shop Custom shop or Mechanical workshop
- Deadline driven and able to meet targets set out by management
- Strong Leadership skills
- Good Kowledge of HR policies and disciplinary action
- Experienced in a wide variety of makes and models
- Well spoken and have excellent communication skills
- Technically minded or have red seal qualifications
- Manage workshop workflow and daily throughput
- Excellent Time management
- Strong Business accumen
- Must be honnest
- Must be Passionate about Cars!
