About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated Surgery Support Assistant to join our procedural care team. This role reports to the Surgery Support Supervisor and works under the direction of the charge nurse or department supervisor. You will support surgical and procedural care by preparing rooms cleaning and storing equipment transporting specimens and assisting with patient care. Youll also perform high-level disinfection of endoscopes and other equipment contributing to a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Requirements:

  • Education:High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
  • Certification:CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience:Minimum one year of hospital experience; bedside or sterilization experience preferred.
  • Skills:Strong communication and teamwork skills; physical stamina to stand walk and lift throughout the shift; ability to work in surgical PPE.
  • Flexibility:Must be available for weekend shifts and adaptable to changing schedules.
