What Youll Do
As a Physical Therapist Assistant youll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their health and mobility goals.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Implement care plans designed by providers and physical therapists to restore function and improve quality of life.
Education and Support: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and techniques with clarity and compassion.
Personalized Interventions: Recommend adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patient safety progress and comfort.
Functional Training: Apply evidence-based practices to reduce symptoms prevent injury and optimize patient outcomes.
Data Collection: Measure and document patient progress in medical records accurately.
Ethics and Standards: Adhere to ethical legal and professional standards in all patient interactions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
What You Bring
Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelors degree in Physical Therapist Assisting (PTA).
Licensure: Active license or relevant certification to practice as a PTA.
Experience: Proven experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant including hands-on work with therapeutic exercises functional training and physical modalities.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent knowledge of physiology and best practices in physical therapy.
Strong ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
Proficiency in healthcare administration and documentation.
Empathy compassion and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Physical ability to lift 40 lbs. and assist patients as needed.
