Position Overview

SharkNinja is seeking a visionary Vice President of Software Applications to lead the development of world-class digital ecosystems that power our connected products and delight millions of customers globally. This leader will drive the strategy architecture and delivery of applications across mobile cloud and device platforms ensuring SharkNinja continues to define the future of connected living.

As VP you will set the standard for innovation and execution in software applications working at the intersection of consumer experience cutting-edge technology and AI integration. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our digital platforms elevating software as a key differentiator in SharkNinjas product portfolio and enabling the seamless connection between our devices services and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Set Vision & Strategy
  Define and execute a bold future-focused roadmap for software applications that integrates mobile IoT cloud and AI/ML technologies to elevate the consumer experience.
• Lead at Scale
  Build develop and inspire a global team of engineering leaders architects and developers across the U.S. China and EMEA. Drive a high-performance innovation-led culture that scales with the companys growth.
• Digital Ecosystem Ownership
  Oversee the architecture and delivery of SharkNinjas mobile and cloud applications ensuring they are secure scalable and intuitive while seamlessly integrating with connected products.
• AI-Driven Experiences
  Partner with the SVP of Software & AI to embed intelligence into applications leveraging machine learning and data science to personalize and continuously improve consumer experiences.
• Consumer-First Mindset
  Translate consumer insights and market trends into compelling application features ensuring SharkNinjas apps are not just functional but delightful intuitive and sticky.
• Cross-Functional Influence
  Partner with Product Development Hardware Engineering Industrial Design and Marketing to deliver holistic differentiated product experiences. Serve as the senior advocate for software applications at the executive table.
• Operational Excellence
  Establish best-in-class development practices DevOps pipelines and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement in speed to market reliability and cost efficiency.
• Global Leadership & Governance
  Ensure software applications meet international compliance data privacy and cybersecurity standards while enabling global scalability.

Qualifications

• Proven Senior Leadership: 15 years of experience in software development with at least 7 years in executive leadership roles driving global consumer-facing applications.
• Domain Expertise: Deep experience in mobile cloud and IoT applications ideally within consumer electronics connected devices or adjacent industries.
• AI/ML Integration: Demonstrated success embedding AI/ML capabilities into consumer software platforms.
• Global Perspective: Track record of leading distributed engineering organizations across multiple geographies.
• Execution Excellence: Strong background in delivering complex high-scale applications on time and with uncompromising quality.
• Strategic Operator: Ability to balance near-term delivery with long-term platform thinking.
• Collaborative Influencer: Exceptional stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence at the C-suite level and across diverse functions.
• Educational Foundation: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field required; Masters or MBA strongly preferred.
