Job Summary

Registered Dietitian

Location: Watertown NY

Setting: Medical center

Schedule: Day shift Full-time (40 hours) rotating weekend coverage

Compensation: $28 - $37 per hour $2500 SOB

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to oversee and support the nutritional well-being of patients and residents. The Dietitian will collaborate closely with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and identify individuals at risk for malnutrition.
Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) to determine the degree of malnutrition.
Develop implement and monitor individualized diet plans.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients residents families and staff.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (required).
Registered Dietitian or Registration Eligible (required).
Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist credential in New York State (preferred).
Minimum of one year of experience in acute care or long-term care (preferred).
Strong communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with clinical and administrative software (e.g. PointClickCare Meditech Microsoft Office Suite).
Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care and customer service.
