Job Title: Assistant Manager - Compliance

About the Role:
Join Collins Aerospace as a seasoned Trade Compliance expert with 6 years of specialized experience managing compliance with SCOMET US and international regulations. You will lead the interpretation implementation and continuous improvement of trade compliance programs for dual-use and defense-related products and technology transfers. This key role safeguards lawful and secure operations across India and global supply chains in a highly regulated environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Oversee import/export compliance under SCOMET HTS ECCN and other regulatory frameworks like ITAR and EAR.
  • Lead classification and documentation reviews to ensure timely and accurate customs filings for aerospace and defense shipments.
  • Monitor regulatory changes update compliance processes and coordinate with internal teams and external partners for seamless logistics and documentation.
  • Analyze complex data from multiple sources to interpret regulations and communicate requirements across cross-functional groups.
  • Ensure strict adherence to global trade regulations and corporate policies governing exports re-exports and cross-border data transfers.
  • Drive automation and digitization of compliance processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Support Investigation & Disclosure lead with root cause analysis and timely closure of corrective actions.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Law International Trade Business or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CCS CES) preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years direct experience in trade compliance or customs operations within a multinational manufacturing or technology company.
  • Strong knowledge of US (ITAR EAR) and non-US regulations (EU Dual-Use UK/EU Sanctions SCOMET).
  • Technical proficiency in HS/ECCN classification Indian customs export licensing sanctions compliance and trade compliance software (SAP GTS OCR).
  • Proven ability to conduct audits lead training and manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication analytical and project management skills with the ability to influence and lead in a dynamic environment.
