Job Description
Introduction
A client of ours based in Cape Town is seeking a Analyst to join their team. The client is looking for a hardworking reliable individual with a strong work ethic and who is passionate about economics & investments to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- B Com Hons degree (or similar) in Economics or Econometrics (preferably) or Investments/Finance and with CFA level I already passed.
- Microsoft Office with a specific requirement for strong excel skills (v-lookups formulas regression analysis basic coding etc.)
- LSEG Datastream / Bloomberg knowledge would be an advantage.
- Minimum 18 24 months experience in economic / econometric analysis (preferably) / investments and asset management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working with the relevant portfolio manager; providing research/analysis and reporting input.
