You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Marketing at Boise State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2026. We seek a dynamic and innovative scholar who will contribute to the departments teaching research and service missions while helping prepare students for success in an evolving business landscape.
This position is designed to support the departments commitment to experiential and applied learning innovative scholarship and strong industry partnerships. The ideal candidate will engage students through interactive and practice-oriented teaching advance knowledge in strategically important areas of marketing and contribute to building the departments collaborative culture.
Boise States Marketing Department currently offers Marketing Major (BBA) and Minor programs of study and a certificate in Professional Sales. Students majoring in marketing may choose emphasis areas in Brand and Product Marketing or Marketing Communications. Marketing courses on average enroll 34 students per course. Approximately 105 students per year graduate with a Marketing Major.

Base salary of $136500 is competitive with AACSB median salaries for public research institutions.
Our standard faculty contract is a 9-month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly renewable contract unless noted that the position is temporary. More information about faculty contracts and work days is available here.
