Job Summary
VISTA Technology Services Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a Project Contract Analyst to support our NAVSEA customer. This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3 days a week in Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
The Project Contract Analyst will be a liaison with the government and bring a passion for supporting both sides of the acquisition and contracts life-cycle process (pre- and post-award federal contracts)and improving the processes that defend our nation. They will be responsible for providing overarching contracts financial and program management support as well asperforming administrative functions. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Developing high-level spend plans
- Implementing business process improvement
- Developing senior-level financial or logistical briefings
- Tracking and providing status updates
- Processing a wide variety of tasks to completion identifying and correcting data errors and providing recommended solutions
- Developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Assisting with budget reports
- Maintaining action trackers to ensure tasks are completed correctly comprehensively and on time and providing maintenance of financial trackers
- Participating in various meetings
- Assisting with the monitoring of performance cost and schedule impacts coordinating across multiple programs and organizations
- Reading contracts and writing contracting modifications (MODS)
- Updated technical instructions
- Create document packages for approval
- Reviewing and making updates toStatement of Works (SOW)
- Collecting input for SOWs and CDRLs
- Reviewing invoices
- Updatingcontract status reports
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 0-4 years of experience with the DoD acquisition contracts
- Experience working with the Contracting Officers Representative(COR)
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS)
- Knowledge of program management applications such as cost performance or scheduling
- Ability to be proactive and work independently in a team environment
- Ability to develop document and implement new processes and brief leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Experience with using Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office products including Word Excel Project and PowerPoint
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a Business field
- Experience working with NAVSEA
- Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
- Familiarity with Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
- Experience in working with various Navy Waterfront entities including shipyards installation teams and regional maintenance facilities
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65000.00 to $90000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTAs total compensation package for employees.
