Job Summary
Join a company specialized in the design and implementation of automated solutions for handling and processing heavy loads. As Project Buyer you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process related to customer projects from analyzing technical requirements to contract negotiations while coordinating closely with technical teams and managing supplier relationships.
Tasks
Function :
- Managing procurement activities for project-specific components and materials.
- Leading contract negotiations with suppliers ensuring the best balance of quality cost and lead time.
- Monitoring project needs in the ERP system and aligning them with overall project planning.
- Conducting supplier audits and following up on deliveries and deadlines.
- Analyzing technical requirements to define the appropriate sourcing strategy.
- Regularly evaluating key suppliers.
Requirements
Profile:
- You hold a degree in supply chain engineering or business and have experience in an industrial environment ideally related to automated production systems.
- Solid understanding of technical specifications and ability to interpret industrial project requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills cost analysis and purchasing strategy capabilities.
- Analytical structured and results-driven mindset.
- Team-oriented adaptable and proactive in solving problems.
- Proficient in English and either French or German (fluency in all three is a strong asset).
